    Acts of Random Kindness

    Parsley,

A local grain grower just went into a Tim Hortons... and bought $250.00 worth of coffee and donuts for everyone there!!!

It was rumored that some farmers were buying toast and coffee for other neighbours at Smittys as well!!!

And believe it or not, the sun is shining over Alan Obergs' farm at Forestberg AB!!!
0c today... to be 6c tomorrow!!!

The sun rose in the east this morning...
    over western Canada...
it is a very beautiful day for December 16, 2011!!!

Please report other 'random acts of kindness here'!!!

I would like to extend a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year to everyone here at agriville and every grain grower in the DA. For those on both sides of this long fought battle I truly wish you many years of prosperity resulting from the fruits of your labor. FREEDOM is truly wonderful thing and should never ever be taken for granted again. Hallelujah and Amen!!!

        Happy Birth Day;

        Happy Birth Day;

        Happy Birth Day!

(Sung to the Derge song of the Volga Boatmen)

An old family tradition we sing this after the 'Happy Birthday to you' is sung!!!

        Background:
        Table of Contents
        1. What is "The Birthday Dirge"?
        2. What are the lyrics?
        3. Where did it originate?
        4. Why?

        1. What is "The Birthday Dirge"?
        --------------------------------
"The Birthday Dirge" is sung to the tune of "The Volga Boatmen". If you
don't know the tune by name, you know it by sound. It's the depressing
sounding Russian folk tune that nearly everyone has heard at one time
or another. The resounding thud that follows each "Happy Birthday!" is
traditionally accompanied by a "HUHN"-like grunt. The sort of groaning
grunt that workers lifting heavy loads might find natural.

        2. What are the lyrics?
        -----------------------
The Dirge is know know in various circles as "The Barbarian Birthday Song",
"The Viking Birthday Sang", "The SCA Birthday Dirge", etc. Those lyrics
most common are listed first. Variations and additional lyrics follow.
Feel free to pick and choose those verses that best suit the group you
are with and the person being serenaded.

          Tom,
I understand it was an Alberta farmer who was not in attendance but bought coffee for all those at the Balgonie farm.

            ksbender,

It was great to hear all the positive media reports over the past couple of days... about 'Freedom' for our grain farms.

            Sincerely,

The general public will really ponder the Left machinations and apocalyptic projections...

We sold, I estimate over 1mmt of wheat on Friday the first day of freedom... and international wheat prices rose another 6 cents over the weekend!

How sweet it is... to prove ExChair Oberg and his crew to be fear mongering anarchists are sooo wrong about the CWB 'single desk' and the influence it had on grain prices.

Knowingly perpetrating a fraud... would be the best description of the impending collapse of grain prices that was predicted to occur after the CWB 'single desk' was ended!

Here we are... the sky has NOT fallen... and ExChair Oberg and his crew owe us a huge apology. How about it Rod... fess up and be honest!
