Definitely some big gambles going on in
agriculture the AB gov has sold 117 thousand
acres or 731 quarters in the north peace and with
every auction the prices seem to be getting
higher. The first few auctions everyone said the
reserves were too high lots sold for the minimum
30k, now last weeks sale bush land for 155k one
guy took 9 for 111k average. Low end price now
          70k

If I were you I would talk to lots of guys who
have case combines. Give Henry Vos the x CWB
guy a call he will have lots to say about his.
Neighbor here just got rid of his 9010 another
with a 9120 is not happy also.

Look at the guys spending 2000$ on a bred
cow????? 210,000 more people in the world
          every day so who know?

So their is a land boom up in the Peace also. Just got the Swather deal faxed over and wow double also what was last year and our trades lasted three days.
Its a very depressing day so far one more deal to come in then I think its time for a holiday.

Wow at least the cost side of AG is
booming. Just got quoted 6.81 (Sept/Oct)
for new crop durum SW sask and 3.75 for
new crop barley so the outputs are not
              booming.

I hear you sask . I upgraded a lot of equip this past
year , I bought when the dealers were begging and I
felt I got good deals , Now every one is running after
the dealers, they have no inventory .I feel its time to sit
this year out, land, cattle and machinery gone crazy, All
we are missing from 1980 is interest rates, Let the
sheep run, I'm sitting on this years profits and going to
                pay the taxman.

Its not so much in the west here that the farmers are running the dealers inventory low. Maybe some of you are unaware that the U.S. has a huge program on for there farmers to buy new equipment. Its all part of there plan to try and kickstart the economy down there. That is why prices have jumped, and inventory is tight here. Any of you on here remember the tax incentive on machinery in the 80's here? Spent like drunken sailers!!!

Yea its not like i need anything. New combines swathers air-drill and one 9630 last year. But just did annual calls for end of year. Big surprise, not with all the price increase happening. Just smile and wave and sit back and enjoy.

One problem with S series pricing is all the new extras in the price. Such as prodrive $11,000-$12,000,hopper covers $4,000,JDlink ??-$2,000,IT4-??,bigger tires, more expensive spreaders, rethrasher etc.
Not wanting to cause a stir, but I wouldn't buy a 2011 9770 if it was only $68,000 less than a 2012 S680. Would have to be at least $100,000 less than the new one. Dont't think you would buy another 9770 for $68,000 less than the S680.

Lots of e.xtra shit that's not really a big addition
just boosts price. The dealer is trying to make
same margin on new as used.
Will st back no need to change ran the new one
for a few days nice but not that much nicer.
