    Cotton.

You can dream of the glory years of the US dollar, but I doubt that you would be prepared to live in those times.

High lights of this morning's post bloomberg.com/news/2012-01-02/dollar-s-demise-exaggerated-as-13-gain-since-2008-prove

    - moves by the Federal Reserve to flood the world with dollars are doing little to dent the currency's value..

    - the US dollar index has appreciated 13% from March 2008 even as the Fed kept interest rates at about zero and printed cash... and is little changed since 1991.

    - that long-term stability shows America's currency is a store of value...

    - the performance counters officials in China, Germany, Brazil and (cotton, Canada) who said the Fed's policies were weakening the dollar...

If cotton wishes to go to the cliffs edge with reasonable doubt on the economy, I could stomach it. However, when the roadrunner's nemesis is forever giving that ten feet beyond the cliff edge momentary look before he plummets into the canyon depth, then I don't buy it.

Rerun the cartoon with your kids. They will understand.

        Sumdumbguy,

At the point where this fine fellow tells us the earth will reverse rotation... you have to know Utah water must have some extra kick in it!

Quite a story teller... no doubt...

I am not a rocket scientist but I think we are safe in 2012. About that guy giving the presentation, not sure. Is this why Saskatchewan land is so valuable today?
