    ILTA Grain Inc. Expands in Canada. Acquires 4 Saskatchewan based Specialty Grain and Pulse Processing PlantsPlans for further expansion in North America

    VANCOUVER, Jan. 13, 2012 /CNW/ - ILTA Grain Inc of Surrey BC, through it's subsidiary ILTA Processing Inc., is pleased to announce it has acquired 4 specialty grain and pulse facilities from the Parkland Grain/Pulse group of companies effective January 15th, 2012. The facilities are located at North Battleford (2), Swift Current, and Cutknife, Saskatchewan.

    The current 45 employees of Parkland will join ILTA's staff. Further expansion of the facilities will be made to support the growing sales program of both companies. The Parkland Grain/Pulse Companies have operated for 24 years in Saskatchewan and were started by Cyril Fransoo, a pioneer in the Western Canadian Special Crop industry. His son Gilles will continue on with the new company and will be an integral part of the growth, expansion, and development of ILTA.

    The management and shareholders of ILTA have been involved in the specialty grain and pulse markets globally for over 20 years. We look forward to providing both growers and and our global client base with many marketing options and opportunities as the Western Canadian grain industry continues to evolve. ILTA is also developing 2 new strategically placed specialty grain/pulse facilities in Saskatchewan with expected completion in 2012-2013.

    I heard rumors for some time. Good for the boys, they have worked extreemly hard to build that business up. I thought something was up. Some very big deals happening around here lately, TNM concrete was just bought out as well. Alot of interest rolling around here for land and business.

      Were getting a Korean chopstick factory.
      A strawbored plant, couplea bio diseil
      plants, an emu ranch, pigeon fram,
      couple of scum eatin fish ponds, ostrich
      scrambling egg mill. There is word that
      we'll soon be cuttin antlers ofen elk,
      huntin deer on a fram and growin ginseng
      fer the oriental markets. Oh, oh, I
      fergot C buckthorn bushes, saskatoons,
      and pond scum is takin off. Waow whoda
      though, and this wood hapen once the
      Comedian Wheatea Bored was agin under
      gobermont control............
