Correct me if I am wrong ,Last year at this time I was
at the combine to customer seminar , They said we
grew approx. 22 million tonne of CWRS ,of which 6
million tonnes were sold at a premium. That means
16 million tonnes where sold at or below market
prices. If the world is only going to Pay a premium for
only 25% of our production ,why are we growing CRSW
varieties which Yields have not increased in 20 years?
Why don't we IP 6 million acres or tonnes of Cwrs, and
get some varieties that yield.
