I am surprised he did not go for the experience
    with his teammates.

"I believe the Federal government has grown out of control, threatening the Rights, Liberties, and Property of the People.

"This is being done at the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial level. This is in direct opposition to the Constitution and the Founding Fathers vision for the Federal government.

"Because I believe this, today I exercised my right as a Free Citizen, and did not visit the White House. This was not about politics or party, as in my opinion both parties are responsible for the situation we are in as a country. This was about a choice I had to make as an INDIVIDUAL.

"This is the only public statement I will be making on this topic. TT"

shown the world, that he is a small

How so? He blamed both parties. He may not have gone if was a republican president either.

I don't care either way, using sports teams for some extra publicity is what?

There is a lot of traction Obama gained because of this. Tim Thomas wasn't counting on the backlash as being positive for Obama.

To me, it seems a statement on how ****ed up things are in the states.

Sports celebrities and politics do sometimes mix.

I agree most of the time the rich sports athletes would rather chase tail then make political statments where they get negative press.

Good for him to take the less popular stance.

the money he's makin he doesn't have to chase "it" (ya know what I mean), it will come to him and his money!

He doesn't even get that he is part of the problem!

Wanna bet the next puck in the head and career done he goes for politician, he't then be as smart as most of them and rich a complete shoe in!
