Canadian canola exports continue to set a record pace at approximately 1 mmt ahead of what was exported by the same time last year. According to the latest Canadian Grain Commission data, Canada has now exported 4.4 mmt to date during the 11/12 crop year. If the current pace continues, yearly exports could top 9.0 mmt well above the 7.0 mmt exported in 10/11. In addition to routine Japanese business, China has also been a major export destination this year, with Pakistan and Dubai also picking up their demand.
