SF3, how much of the 7 or 8 unseeded
acres will go canola this year do you
think? Because though 20 million acres
is doubtful, we need to remember there
is a lot of land in canola country that
      never seeded anything last year.

But I also realize, with a return to
normal yields due to drought in non-
traditional areas will also cut into
production a lot. I think the non-
typical moist climate in the "chickpea
      and lentil areas, have stimulated
      artificial acreages of canola. Given
normal precip, the yield trends will be
      DOWN in these areas, no?

      Just a couple of thoughts.

I think it will be around 18.2. Then
watch the weather. I was north yesterday
and all way to wadena their is hardly
any snow. Two bags south of Elfros you
could drive right up to and starting
loading. Then as I headed to Canora it
got more and more snow. But at the lake
I drove right up to the lot.
I think some of the guys in wet area
will not do like north last year where
most broke tradition and caught up a
year by seeding wall to wall canola. I
think the SE will do HRS Durum Peas and
Canola. Some of the West will switch by
        spring to other crops. IMHO
