Who are you guys going through to lease the bins?

Was just checking prices on some 20,000 bushel bins. Viterra will lease them no extra cost 6 months interest free, but interest for the next 3 years is 8 percent. Kinda defeates the ealy tax deduction. FCC does not do bin leases. I never asked my credit union yet as I figure I am extended enough. Was thinking to take the viterra lease 6 months interest free and they do have an option to pay out at the end of six months no penalty. In fact if buying the bins stupid not to take the lease option if you got the credit. OK you guys are not stupid enough to pay 8 percent interest just to get an early tax deduction are we? so where are we dealing with on these leases?

My accountant told me that if you are planning to purchase
whatever you are leasing it should be treated like a purchase
for tax purposes. No advantage to lease if your intent is to
purchase. Might want to check that out first, rules might have
changed since I asked about 5 years ago.

I have used National Leasing, it was about 3 yrs ago
for two 20,000 bushels Brock bins. The rate was 6% I
believe, they might be lower given interest rates today.
