    Bucket,

I for one believe that we need to get our own houses in order... and lead by example.

We MUST have viable markets for our products... or our western CDN economy is done like dinner yesterday.

NDP and Leberanos who complain about the 'High' CDN $... are just like the folks in China who continue the lockin to the US $... and watch Chinese currency reserves grow... as the US currency devalues and recks the US economy.

    Canada should do the same?

    NO.

Our lack of ability to raise and attract skilled labour...
(If you can call working at a fast food joint that)
is a result of Canadians being affluent... and richer than anyone else on this planet!

Nice position to be in...we are... but a goofy complaint to make...

Willing folks to flip a burger... should be commended for being here in Canada... (they can step up/learn and fill more important jobs to our economy) not be condemed and slighted for the colour of their skin or foreign accent!

    Cheers!

McDonalds in Regina has hired many Foreigners.
Park Street location is where I stop every
      morning.

I will drive a few miles out of my way to go to the
ones that do have East Indian kids at most of the
work positions. They are accurate, friendly, they
are super pleasant. Gotta say McDonalds is lucky
      and so am I.
