Viterra Share trading halted

Hopper, I have the same sentiment, I refuse to
donate my shares to Telemiracle. I still have
shares in my Dads name because it would cost
more in administration than leaving them as is. My
Dad passed away 6 years ago! We still get the
cheques for pennies. Donating to Telemiracle is a
good thing, but that shows how poorly valued the
original shares have become! Thankfully we sold
the little bit there was before the amalgamation.
We had big farming neighbors who gave up tens
of thousands of equity in SWP.

"Farmers will to be snookered again?" is what the headlines should read.

I would think that Mayo is about to retire and Viterra will sacrificed to history if a takeover bid is accepted.

If our fricken Harper Government allows a takeover of Viterra by a foreign entity then I say that farming in Canada is in real trouble. Lets hope that this is not the case.

viterra
