    We had a guy in our area years ago that
    use to see by certain moon. Crop looked
    awsome then it froze. Repeat cycle over
    and over. Finally he doesnt farm any more.

      I believe its New moon for things like potatos and Carrots root crops. above ground crops are "seed by the light of the moon" meaning Full Moon. I could be wrong.

        400 Acres Oats In!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ground Conditions, 14 Day, Nature, Everything Says GO. Nevermind The 1/4a Oats, and 1/4a Canolie I put in Back in January, Frost Seeded It, Un ****in Believable Conditions, Coulda done The Whole Farm, Maybe Shoulda, Probly once In a Lifetime Chance. Earliest goin before was April 8th back in 09, Shattered that Record. Anyone plannin on Seeding in May, Keep The ****in Drill in The Shed, Leavin Yield in The Field, Try again Next Year. Geezus Christ, You Guys gotta get outta Bed in The Morning, Wanna get Something Done in a Day..........

                  sumdum, Thanks but I had one This Morning. Take a Look Around, Ask any Sob from MB what the Weather is like We's bin Havin. Last 5 days have bin all above plus 20 Degrees, Yesterday was The highest ever Recorded in History fer That Date. Oats are done, Caught 6 Tenthsa Nice Warm Rain 'round 7:30 last night, Will Green Everything up. Frogs croaking to Beat The Band now, Wasps Humming About, Buds on Poplars Coming, Willow Branches Yellowing, Nature Knows, I am One With it. Dries up by The Weekend, Will move into Canola, Figure be Running Full Boar by First Weeka April, Beans and All. Soil Temp. 11 Degrees and Counting, GO TIME BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
