    BAAR, SWITZERLAND and REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN--(Marketwire - March 20, 2012) - Viterra Inc. ("Viterra") (TSX:VT)(ASX:VTA) & Glencore International plc ("Glencore") (LSE:GLEN)(HKSE:805)

    Highlights
    •Cash price of C$16.25 per Viterra share represents an attractive premium to Viterra shareholders
    •Transaction has received the unanimous approval of Viterra's Board of Directors
    •Establishes a key growth platform for Glencore in Canada, one of the world's most attractive grain and oilseeds markets

          And in reality they didn't need glencore to come in, they could have just sold directly to richardsons and agrium. They paid a middlemen. The more I think of this, the more I wonder how ****ing stupid directors are that run large corporations. Instead of letting Glencore paper shuffle a billion dollar fee out of this deal they could have sold different assets over the next year and put more money in the shareholder's pockets. Brain dead. But then, I always laugh at farmers that sell to the first bid and admire the ones that take the last.

            Bucket, Richardson only purchased 19 facilities the rest will be Glencore. This is how it will look.

                  Thanks richfarmer. I hadn't read that anywhere in the releases.

                  Hopefully Glencore uses some of their money to purchase the rail line to GDT outright. Grain movement would be great then.
