I was happy selling last week as for the best info was saying canola would stay flat at around 600 for a while and I thought there was more downside risk than upside gain.

The bulls have been fed and I have some targets in for 13.75. It will even out the hindsight bad sale last week but I am averaging up now.

I can give my marketing guy a good talking to everyday looking in the mirror. He doesn't listen any better than the experts out there.

Bucket - Know that selling today, you
would be 30 cents/bu better to the good
than early Friday morning sales. But you
are eating a pretty darn good piece of
mahi mahi but selling today, it would be
a filet. This is now a very
      unpredictable market.

As crazy as this sounds, had Bernanke
not prodded the equities today by
hinting that interest rates would not
rise, canola may have been down, not up
      today.Grain markets are following stock
markets for leadership. It's a fine line
how this rally is currently holding
together. Also like Charlie stated, USDA
on Friday will be a wild card.. The U.S.
soy complex will either be straight up
      on Friday, or straight down.

Big price swings are expected ahead.

Coleville I'm thinking these bean prices have bought
significant acres back from corn, particularly outside
the corn belt. They've already bought back 10% of my
intended corn acres and I know a lot of fellows in the
              same boat.

I'm not talking about people who use their real names
here, and i should probably take the above comment
back because it probably hasn't happened here
...yet...but on the american board professional traders
where pretending to be farmers and where talking
people into taking the other side of their trades.

I called them on it and many disappeared, only to
                resurface under different names.

Beans have been on a steady march higher since the beginning of the year, all while Corn has come down. As you say "outside the corn belt" this is buying a lot of acres. At what point, or ratio, does it buy acres in the "I" states? I guess we might find out.

I find it hard to believe 94 million acres of corn will be bought at these levels.

Actually nice to have a market that generates some interest and a conversation. Has me looking at the open/trades during the day and the charts with interest. We can battle among ourselves but at the end of the day the market is always right.

Dollar devaluation-the currencies of the world have
been collapsing for 10 years, look at gold, the usdx is
about to be smashed as it is removed from reserve
                        and international settlement system

                        Scum sucking parasites-proffesional traders who
haunt forum boarders sucking people into taking the
other side of their trade(two sides to every trade)

What do you eat when your in the states-a referral to
people who believe supply management should be
saved on the grounds our food is healthier than free
                        markets in the us.
