    October was a better buy yet, fall applied all our N S ready to seed with Phos booked in Nov. Still over $50/ acre.
    Comment on our "small" pluses, NO hired help, fewer decision makers, work with wife, No accountants, No tax preparers, way less costs per acre for machinery, IE nothing new.IMHO

            Don't need any N with lentils. High fertilizer costs
            entice growers to plant pulses. Good!

                  Peas are better bet this year over lentils! With average yields and current fall prices, value of nitrogen for two years they pencil out better than canola.
