One thing I would watch is voter turnout and the ability of the parties to bring their supporters to the polling stations. I suspect this will have as much impact as anything else in the final results. Albertans are engaged in this election.

Advanced polls are running at least double the pace of last year so far.

308 election predictions has Smith at 56.7% and Barlow at 30.4 %. Don't know how accurate that is but they claim about a 91% success rate in other elections.
I'd be more concerned about Redford losing her riding?
Yesterday at Innisfail they were lined up at the advance poll outside the building...usually a heavy turnout at the advanced polls isn't good news for an incumbent.
There definitely is a tightening up as the PCs sling the gay/abortion mud. Hopefully people aren't dumb enough to get sidetracked from a corrupt government that intends to keep spending like a bunch of drunken sailors!

I'm setting up signs for our PC candidate because they are a great representative and went through an extensive nomination process. Although I am sympathetic to the WR and was tempted to go that way over the Land Bills fiasco, but WRs candidate was appointed by Danielle (no grassroots or community involvement)and doesn't even live in the constituency !!

We have had the 4X4 and 4X8 signs driven over by a truck, looks like the same guys tracks. Haven't heard of any WR signs damaged. So not too crazy in our area. Hope you catch the culprits in the first instance !

Not sure where you are Gofer but in Livingstone Macleod, Little Bow and Highwood the WR has had many signs damaged and stolen. The actions of a few idiots should not be the reason to vote or not vote for a candidate. The theft of your property ie. Bill 24 removed the Pore spaces from your portfolio and the the Concentration of power in the Cabinet of the other 3 land use bills and the sheer disregard for what the people asked for in the land use meetings are reasons not to vote for a party. If your candidate was a government member of the PC's I will guarantee he or she voted for all of these bills. The WR offers the ability to vote what the constituency asks for and a stop to deficit financing with introducing a return to balanced budgets. That is a reason to vote for a party.

One thing that really bothers me is this:
The same guys I was working with getting Harper elected......are now on the other side!
These aren't some kind of radicals or crazies! Same Conservative types!
They can agree 100% that these land bills are totally wrong.......but they are sticking with old "true blue"!
I try to tell them that old "true blue" is pretty red these days, but I might as well be talking to the wall!
What the hell is wrong with people?

A candidate needs to have a winning strategy of political campaign for a winning election result. Whenever you donate to a prospect in an election, it can really help them to either win or lose the promotion. If you want a candidate to win, you should get a Payday Cash Advance to make a donation to the campaign. The candidate will really appreciate the contribution during this time when they are doing as much campaigning as possible to try and win.
