Manitoba NDP grabs more farmer cash

Let it be known that a 2.5 cent per liter increase is coming to clear gas users may 1st and a 3 yes 3 cents a liter hit to all coloured gas and diesel off road users. Typical NDP trying to save the votes inside the perimeter...

There is no tax increase on marked diesel, just
              marked gas.

The reason why farmers get a reduction for fuel is because the majority of their tractor fuel is burned in the field not on the road.

Its too bad the governments don't have a surcharge to grain companies that forced farmers to haul grain to centralized points instead of using their elevator system and the railways. Then they wouldn't be forcing loads over under designed highways.

Correct me if I am wrong but do not all
three prairie gov'ts charge their road tax
on the diesel fuel the railways use in
their locomotives? If it is right than in
Sask. that is 15 cents per litre.

Railroads are the friends of Comedian
framers, aren't they? They need us, we
don't need them! Both have ta compete fer
our business, on a daily, weekly, monthly
basis. Angribusiness must be hellish, all
the competion, NOT going on in Comedia...

That should have been made clear BEFORE any concrete was poured. None would have been built due to road costs.
There would be 1200 more elevators now.

Anyone who wasn't braindead knew that there would be more trucks on the road when 1200 elevators were closed.
