We where 75% canola last year. Though I
am not apposed to Canola on canola and
have done some in the past, I really
have no land suitable this year for it.
I am only doing one quarter of it.

I made a mistake on the acres as well,
we picked up some more land in the last
couple of days and we are now up to
65,000, therefore I am the best again.

Sensitive this A.M.? hehe. Lighten up, at least you will have some moisture to seed into.
Plans are the same here, about 1/3 peas, 1/3 wht, 1/3 canola. Been there with the 6-7 diff crops a year - the last few year it's been 4 - canola/wht/peas then reseed canola lol. Hopefully our luck changes on the late May hard frosts.
Plans are 90% solidified around here with seed issues forcing some changes. Two more weeks without a good rain and it may change a bit more.

Wheatking you are using the inflation rate when
calculating acres right. What used to be one is
now worth like ten. Pretty soon land will be so
inflated that we will have move the decimal point
otherwise we will all be 10000 acre farmers...

LOL, i should have not replied for I may not be a "real" farmer with the smaller acreage we run.
Most of the "real" farmers here with lots of dirt are half wht/half canola.

Like most on this board I am full of shit
and you can only believe half of what I
say. My Percentages are right, my acres
            may a tad off though.

              A. I am not a big enough farmer to respond.

              B. As I tell statscan - INOYFB.

SF3 do you work for statscan or do you not think other people read this site.
