Why is Cargill so concerned that we price Durum!

Just off phone with our rep he wants us to lock in
some Durim at 7.50 #2.
Have to because Monday were dropping our bids.
please have to.
For one thing durum is hard to grow in our area
grade is tricky with all rain. Awsome crop to much
fuzzzz. Blah blah so will gamble with durum.

I hate grain companies as much as the
next guy but one thing I appreciate is
giving me a heads up when prices are
moving down the next day on grain and
when fertilizer is moving up the next
day. I rarely make a move on this info
but I like knowing about the change,
just me though.

The "fleece" always looks nicer if the animal(or farmer)is groomed prior to the fleecing.

I am thinking thatis the floor price for good grade durum as well. Burbet I have to give you credit for one thing you sure get the rest of these people stirred up.

Oh the letters to the editor are so loaded with the now old pro CWB and they are trying to tell us the way it is according to them. One thing for sure is Burbert is very determined to tell us the way it is. Like the guys in the letters.

I do notice every time the grain companies get determined to ask us to price there is some new demand coming into the picture. Bad time to price when the grain companies want you to. Really they are acting like the middle men they are. Would be the same as hiring the fertilizer manufacturer to recommend how much fertilizer to apply.
Like asking the dog that gourges himself how much food to give him.
