    The Emperor is Naked

Still haven't master the art of the hyperlink. Someone maybe can help out, but I thought this article was interesting enough to bring it to everyone's attention even without a "clickable" link!

David Stockton is the former director of the OMB under Ronald Reagan.

Interview is very interesting, but sad
as it reinforces what a financial mess
          this world is in.

Cotton, you are making me a believer in
          your bond market assessment.

Fondly, remember Reagan's firing of air
traffic controllers which drove up his
popularity. But the Contra affair was a
          blemish on his presidency.

          Reaganomics (less gov't and less
taxes)was a hit with Americans after the
          Jimmy Carter days.

          thanks for the post Kodiak

People grumble about the NASA shuttle program
being shut down. To me it's just a crack showing
in a very large dam. Too big to fail? Really? I
wish I didn't have the debt I do but how do you
build a business constantly preparing and
thinking, the sky is falling the sky is falling.

In my 25 years living in Alberta I have never seen
            real unemployment.

              here's a lesson in U.S. political math . .

The U.S. added 115,000 jobs in April, but
300,000 gave up looking for work. And the
U.S. unemployment rate dropped to 8.1%

If i knew how to hyperlink I would insert
Marketoracle. There is a lot of interesting reading
as we all wonder how it will end.

At family gatherings, discussions turn to the
power of gold versus fiat currency. My belief is
that the government and the banks hold all the
cards and right now they are selling gold to the
hoarders, of whom I know many - only to set
them up. My fear is that they can confiscate it or
tax the peese out of the holders.

Wierd is a world with money not tied to interest
rates! Coyld therinting presses go on forever -
                  maybe?

One of the articles has to do with the reason we
                      will never see hyperinflation.

What do you all think? Hopper, you seeding?

I'll give you a tutorial site. I would type out for you but it automatically creates a hot link. The way I learned was lots of trys, lots of mistakes and now repetition to remember. Things have to be done 100 % correctly or the link doesn't work.

Just looked at the time between Charlies post and mine. Man am I a slow poster.

Funny, we both picked the same website.
