Chances of rain in next 4 days so decided not to do the harrowing to dry out soil. Biggest drawback was harrowing would screw up the pre seed burn off. Plus is weather is good and things are drying. Hired man wanted to go mudding with the harrow but now got his mind on spraying. :-)) Were doing repairs and have tired brains already tonight. I am sure a lot of us are sure itching to get out in them there fields.

My brain is tired too. Buyer wants his
oats now, not like supposed to in
February, just to make things simple on
the brain...
A week like this and we will be going.
What a roller coaster. rain, nice days,
rain. Looks like a beauty of a forecast
finally. Whoo hoooo!

freewheat I hear you. Mustard buyer called this morning to say they had two trucks coming tomorrow to pick-up the Mustard that was contracted for January delivery. WTF!
Of all the goddamn times to come they pick just when a guy is about to start seeding and is behind schedule. What was wrong with January?!? Oh I forgot, this was a "Mustard" contract, which means it is not worth the paper it is printed on.
Every year it's the same crap, so she's all going into Canola this year. Screw you Mustard market.

HA! I refreshed it every time I came in
the house too. About 49 times. You see,
my wife was wearing her hmmmmm,
oooooohhhh ahhhhh, shall we say nicely
fitting jeans today, and hot dang, I had
to keep coming in and watch her taking
cookies out of the oven! She made about
75 dozen for some do da da she has, and
I feasted, tho not on the cookies, I
feasted my eyes. And got way less done
than I should have. lol
Tire man gave someone my 11 inch
implement tire and rim, and gave me a
9.5 on someone elses rim, and so because
I couldn't throw the new one on this
evening, I couldn't move the drill, etc.
and so couldn't do what I needed to do.
So I feasted my eyes. She? Well, she
rolled her eyes 47 times. HA HA HA!!!

Actually, I just saw on her microwave
timer that it was about 8 minutes a
batch, eh? So I looked at my phone, ran
out to the drill after she popped 'em
into the oven, and checked my phone
often: To be sure, I would go back in at
the seven minute mark. I would pretend
to phone about parts, call my trucker,
wash my hands, get a bandage, pee, get a
glass of water, reprimand a child,
pretend to do an art project with my
daughter, that kinda thing.
Worked like a charm until she caught me
the third time. Hence her eyerolls! lol
