Furrow seems like you might be a little bit
jealous. 8810 is a good seeder but no
comparison in seed placement to some of the
newer drills. Did you ever think some guys might
make more money than you and pay cash and
    they don't have payments.

Wow, even your convinced, hehehe. You don't make money with lawn ornaments. I will put my outfit against any thing out there and a grand to boot - takers? Ever think that there are much better ways to make money? Exact seed placement does not make money at mill per machine, sorry to burst your bubble. We have not had a payment in seeding or tractors in 15 years, paid cash at the time. Very stupid comment BTW. .
Not jealous one bit, to be not seeding, lol

I challenge you to find anyone makin more money in my area net/ac. Some less, some even, but very few more, and not those with the mill $ outfits doing the same or less than us. Not sayin we're better or smarter or they are - just snappin back with reality. I see with eyes wide open eveything around me, lol. Not running old press drills BTW.
You seedin? What outfit? No matter how you shake it 2 shanks make a mess in less than ideal coditions compared to one, see it all around me. We could buy cash today if we were forced too, but why? Until a seeding outfit can out perform what I have in every condition and make me money, why? More ac does not = more money, most don't get that concept at all. Make what you have better, not try to make better what you wish you had.
Only one reason our canola froze last year - 95% emergence while others had 50% or less seeded the same day. Shitty old 8810, seed placement issue - hehehhe. I think some are embaressed by the fact what can be done with "not so perfect " seeding outfits for a fraction of the cost is the real issue.

Furrow we got going yesterday on some
well drained land. Half section rolling
into a little creek. So 58 to go. The
seedmaster is working fine trying a new
addition to it. Cable from back to hitch
of air tank. Its designed by seedmaster
to lift front wheels. It works now you
dont spin out because your drills front
wheels fall in. One day down many more
to go. Bourgault was sitting blew a pipe
oil line. It will be going tomorrow.
Sprayed one field where it hailed last
week. Not good, not good at all. Lets
              hope we miss today.

Furrow keep your self convinced that more acres
does not equal more money. Lots of large scale
operations do a good job and the more acres you
multiply profit by the better. (by the way I am not
                  a large operation)
Furrow do you think you get the same deals on
inputs and iron as large operations?
