So tell me how does this make money!!!!!!!

Well tonight I had a good laugh heading
    back to city.
Our new super farmers crew was out
    broadcasting fertilizer.
    6 guys working.
1 Semi delivering product. Local plant
one mile away but truck come from north
so not sure but they dont buy local.
    2. Truck in field to take fertilizer
with one man to turn on the conveyor.
    3. Fertilizer driver one man.
    4. One man as mechanic sitting in truck.
    5. One man filling with diesel. Fuel
also trucked in no local purchases.
    6. Finally one man on ground to let the
tractor guy know where soft areas are.
Our field 6 miles away one man seeding
handles his own fert and seed and
    incoculent and diesel. All purchased
    local.
    Six paid workers vs one.
Purchased out side local trade area vs
    all purchased local.
Their you have it our new super farmer
    neighbors. AH life is good!!!!!!!!!
    Nothing to worry about.

Well at least their not complaining!

    Who cares!

It's there business. Sit back, wash your new equipment and buy them out when they fail.

You seem to know its going to happen anyway.

The discussion is would your farm make it
with 6 guys doing the work of one.
Simple question, will they win or will
      normal saskatchewan farmers win.
I am beting on the real saskatchewan
      farmer.
      Have a good one sask99.
      Im really enjoying this year.

Looks like six smart guys making money. They
don't care if their business looses money,
agristabilty will cover their losses. Kind of makes
you wonder who's the smarter farmer?

Hard to say who will make it. The little hardware store ran by owner or Walmart with a bunch of employees standing around.Hmmm...

Definitely not. Just getting tired of your complaining about everyone else.

I think I would rather hear your stories of all the new shiny equipment that shows up at your yard every week!

Things are shaping up real nice here and I think seeding by most will be in full swing by the weekend. There will be a few wet spots to go around for sure but we will do our best.

Its early yet guys, lets hope the weather co-operates for the next 3-4 weeks and everyone can get their crop in.

                Remember to stay safe

Super Dave yea I don't think so. These guys are
                  no Walmart.
1 Walmart didn't pay 4 times going rate for
                  average assets.
                  2. Walmart buys cheap does markup then pays
                  suppliers when sold.
3 Walmart doesn't pay their employes excess
                  rates.
                  4. Walmart supports local.
5 Walmart makes money and doesn't count on
screw ups to be covered by the fed govt.
Have a great day it's starting to rain.

Do you do these peoples income tax or something? You seem to know their financial situation. I was only making a point that not always hard working family operations will survive to the big operations with a bunch of so so employees.

Broad Acres had same gong show going on in Lafleche. Except they are a very generous operation. They broadcast fertilizer on the neighbours land!
