    finally seeding

Got started yesterday. Between a new
(to me) drill, autosteer and nh3
system plus worked 200 hours since
April 1 its been a hectic spring.
    Loving the guidance though. Should
    have got it last year.
Big guys have been seeding 4 or 5
days around lacombe its gonna be a
long fall. How's everyone else making
    out?

Almost 2/3 rd's done here, N.Battleford area. Spraying is much tougher than seeding at this point.

You mean the wind right furrow?
Ronski, Wadena area just starting also.
The wind is drying everything up fast.
I simply would NOT farm without auto steer! Enjoy!

Good to hear you are drying up but we have had enough wind here, getting dusty behind sprayers when we can go, some guys already worried about canola drying out.

23 percent planted here, not going to hard as trying to give them wet spots some dry up time. Going after dark is still scary. Anhydrous delivery is pretty good yet, but my driver did get stuck on a back road once, glad it wasn't me that had to unhook my drill to pull him out, he was at the neighbour before me.

10% done most got going on Friday or Sat.
Wind is nice its drying up things so
surface is ok. Friend East of us sunk his
Deere BAD. 3hours and a trac hoe.
We sunk the smaller one but were able to
get out fairly easy. Rolled peas, Friday
is looking not good for our area 70%. Lets
hope we miss. Well off seeding.

Dust storm yesterday evening. Some canola fields changing land descriptions.

Should start the next couple days. Lotsa
spinning and ruts when harrowing, but so
much better than the last few years.
Plenty wet though. A pick and choose your
field carefully proposition. A very few
guys have dared to seed so far on the
driest land. Barely ready. Hope it doesn't
rain on the weekend like they say. Geez
                    that would suck.
