Know a guy in montana that sold his wheat for
$22.00 per bushel a few years ago. Wouldn't that
        be amazing.

At the cost of fertilizer and inputs 10$ wheat is the number that makes the crop a competitive choice! Plus this would actually actuallize the 10$ wheat that was projected over 35 years ago in the 70s! And come to think of it this is a great year for the market action of the CWB to be gone as my guess, a very low % of this crop has been presold.

                  Crusher,

What about the storage, levy/Royalties, cleaning, risk the seed won't sell after cleaning, inspection charges, marketing costs, extra trucking, screenings that are feed... (all of which are worth more than $2/bu... over commercial wheat)

Producing high quality pedigreed seeds is kind of like milking cows... they bring reasonable income if we are willing to the work!

I think $10/bu commercial wheat price off the combine would be a nice very good price!

We were in Montana when they were offered; the day it was $22/bu.... I think they were sweeping out bin bottoms and extra seed... just like yellow peas @ $12/bu this spring!

                  Cheers!
