Just a note to highlight the CWB pool return outlooks were released today for both old (2001/02) and new crop (2002/03). With the exception of 2001/02 durum, all PRO forecasts were lower.

Today was also the first day for the durum PPO (forward pricing opportunity). The price was about $235/t in store Vancouver for 1CWAD 13% ptn. or a $8.65/t discount to the PRO. Works out to a off the combine for 1 CWAD basis Alberta of about $5/bu (depending on location).
