Thermometer shows 0, everything thick with frost. Really worried about my canola crop, lots of trash cover. When does a guy go out to check? How soon can one see damage? At least my Supermanitis is cured.

That video was very informative. A plus will be cool day time temperatures and moisture I think. Seems the plants that have just come out of the ground if one does not look soon after the frost they become very difficult to spot as they dissapear fast. Well was not that cold anyway but surprised at the amount and frost on grass, windows, roof tops.

If your plants are not completely blackend by noon you should be ok. Also if the leaves are pooched wait a day and see if the colyeptile is (growing point)not needled off. If it is still a good green color your good to go. Lime - pale green color, then trouble.

Had frost for 3 days straight. Water
dish for bird sitting on ground, seen
ice that one quarter inch thick and no
effect on canola.
