China Taking over Canadian Farms!

So here is the latest. China purchase
beside us, Yes the Prof and his Doctor
wife are from China not hong kong. They
are sponsored by chinese state company.
They have approached FCC and seen if FCC
will finance a shipping and receiving
centre to Vancouver. He had the original
owner phoning people to see if they
would sell out. lets just say he didnt
get a very good reception. So now the
Real Estate group is phoning neigbours
to see who will sell out to this group.
Again from the neighbors I talked to not
a very warm reception. Seems the
Realestate group maybe over estimated
the number of guys willing to sell in
our area, time will tell. $300,000.00 a
quarter latest bid.
His comment to locals was I have friends
in China who would like to come here and
will work my land for me and their own.
Dah this is the migrant farm workers who
will be sent over to work. Also their is
a hint that these guys will be getting a
couple dollar premium for all produce
sent back to china from these farms. Is
that not a subsidy by the chinese
government. DAH!
Lots of locals are starting to see what
is happening. Buisiness in town are
starting to wake up.
Simply these guys are sent over here to
purchase property in very large
quantities and ship food directly back
to china, On trip back the boat will
bring fert chem equipment for them.
Their will be no way to stop this
because Canada has been duped into
believing these are New Canadians,
looking out for Canada. BS.
Who do I blame for this BS.
1. Government they cant figure out
anything till its to late.
2. Realestate all they see is the huge
commission.
3. FCC, but they have their hands tied
because you cant descriminate against a
fellow canadian.
4. Local farmers for not selling to
local market.

Go figure that FCC will lend money to just about
anyone except for young Canadian born farmers.

That is the problem with China. China is
the communist party and the party is
China. I have no problem with individual
immigrants coming over but with the
Chinese the state is always hovering in
the background. Well this is what we get
for all the money printing and the
artificially low interest rates that have
been around for too long.

Fcc does have a program for young
farmers but with land at 300,000 a
quarter four puts you at 1.2 and FCC is
only willing to go 400,000 plus cash or
land. Thats a lot of land for a down
payment. Basically a dad would risk his
whole farm for son picking up a few
quarters. This group is not renting land
back.
Its also funny how some of the investers
feel we would like to work for them
after we sell out. PS off if I get my
money I am gone and believe me I wont be
living in Canada except for a few weeks
a year.

you get out with Millions. No not Hong
Kong Business men. Looking for land.
We as Canadians are being set up hook
line and sinker. If all this comes about
how would farmers feel about getting 2
to three dollars less a bushel than your
supposed neighbor yet he has all the
same rights as you because he is
supposed canadian.

It has a lot to do with our immigration policy also. If you come with cash in your pocket and buy or set up a business you are fast tracked for canadian citizenship. Farms count as a business, just like restraunts and taxis.

system that's called bringing in your

China has figured out it is cheaper to pay a premium for farmland, than buying airplanes and bullets to take over a country. Those F35s could buy alot of farmland, and china has done the math.

Unfortunately most politicians are too ****ing stupid to get ahead of the curveball being thrown at them. They will strike out and the game will be lost and Canada will be worse off.

marketing you wanted the gov to step out. Now
you want them to stop certain groups from buying
land. Maybe brad wall can make a law that you
can only buy farmland in saskatchewan if you are
a riders fan lol.

if they are getting two dollars more a
bushel than you and have their chem and
fert and equipment shipped from home.
You cant access their fert chem and
equipment.
The answer is simple you will be
consumed and gone.
This isnt about a friendly immigration
policy. I have no problems with Real
immigrants coming to canada. My god
thats what all our grandfathers did. But
when they came they settled in and
became part of the community. They didnt
come and take over the comunity.

high royalty rates that kept the oil
in the ground, maybe a mistake but
it's worth 100$/barrel now instead of 10$ then .
