    June 22 Crop Report!

This is a farm crop report from Farmers.
Grant Mcleans is BS. Dont worry crops
under water is not that big of a
problem. With a little heat it can be
helped. DAh crops under water even if it
gets to 50 c for a two week period still
wont produce jack shit. Mud does not
create a crop. Lots of damage in fields
in saskatchewan. Heavy rain is a problem
    again.
    In our area its simple.
Peas yellow yellow and sick, lower areas
are brown. Dah that means no production
their dead. most have sprayed fields or
    just finished.
Durum only a few fields in area and much
like peas their growing slowly because
of excess rain and cool temps. Brown
areas that were not seeded last year but
did get this year are again drowned out.
Hrs most have just started to spray and
some early are doing Tilt. Winter wheat
has bad disease in some fields. (Calgary
advisor better check his new crop as its
    a lovely yellow at bottom).
    No lentils at all.
Flax the odd field but flax and water
not a good thing. Where their is crop
nice but thats mostly hill tops.
Canola, Some early fields sick because
sat to long. If sprayed for flee beetles
not bad and coming some working under
would be good. Weed pressure from second
and third flushes is all over. doesnt
matter liberty or roundup. All these
rain events are causing lots of flushes.
So to sum up crop a 6 its early lots can
happen from now on but heat will be a
    welcome.

Wht. and Bly look Good..sprayed before the rain and used tilt, no leaf disease so far..Canola needs to be sprayed the second time but way to wet..Canola in the area seems to be slow growing..small leaves, growing up not out..must be trying to keep there heads above water...

First durum april 23/24/25. Best durum i have
ever seen. Later durum may 15-19th excellent
but late. Canola 1/2 fields outstanding 1/2 fields
decent. Early green lentils april 26th are
excellent. Late seeded may 13/14 suffering a
bout of fusarium root rot with up to 30% plant
loss. Red lentIl are very good. Peas are good
with some low spots drowned and yellow.
Aschocyta on lower leaves and stems already.
Overall a very nice crop developing.

Yea Dave that's it, god your a putz. Dave are
            yours all a 10 I bet not. Here we're a 6 maybe the
heat will help maybe not but at this time it's a 6. Jd
has 10 on durum excellent got in early and just
right weather. Mud is a dud, most of the time it's a
            bust.

My crop's about the best I've ever seen it. Will need a drink within the week to maintain potential.

Last year at this time june rain screwed our crop. This year we have been wet but not drowned out. Canola looks good and is there ever alot seeded around here. Durum is very good. Peas are just coming around. Not alot of peas this year. Flax is later but is almost ready to spray and looks above average so far. Most people have all their acres in this year with a way better crop than last year. South central Sask.

Among the worst I have grown seen in
                  this area. Canola hurting bad,
everything very late. JD green thinks
his durum seeded mid may is late? He
should see the wheat here seeded june
1st!! lol I just drove by a neighbors
flax that is at least 30% completely
drowned, 30 percent pure yellow, and 30
per cent so so. Cereals do seem to be
faring the best, but late is for sure.
My canary is just poking third leaf.
Will be lots of July spraying around
these parts. crop is not worth spraying
for disease, we'll put it that way. I
would rate my own crops as:

Canola 3 and beyond late, cotelydon to
                  three leaf
Wheat 7 but flipping late four leaf
Canary 5 and flipping late 2-3 leaf

Wheat a 9, tillering, where not drowned out.
Canola variable a 5, did not like the rain.
10% drowned out, 10% more growing in concrete, will make spindly plants and little yield.
Some fields have poor emergence on later seeded.
All tilled fields are better crops in this area.
Ruts in all fields from sprayers.

Our best are on pea stubble and hrs that
was worked. But today Just out side of
Moosejaw by the mine what a canola field
160 acres all seeded and at cabbige and
wow is the only word. Nice then a half a
mile away the guy should work his section
down. Poor from their to Regina. All
crops. Moosejaw are really nice. I guess
the high rent is worth it.
