    Aster Yellows

    Anyone seeing this around? Noticing it here in Manitoba. Last time this prick was around it took half the crop. After this, and this heatwave there will be nothing left.

    Can one spray for it?

      Leaf hoppers carry the virus. Once u see the disease its to late. Need to spray at herbicide time to reduce the percent of infected plants. Possibly again if pressure is really high.

        Parkland is full of them.... flax is susceptible also.
        Praying we don't have an easterly wind.

        Last time, had 40bu swaths, and burnt the diesel for
        it... and had 8 bu canola. Wasn't fun.
