Sclerotinia is dessicating my canola crop as I type this. Going to be interesting as when to pull in with the swather, Pretty bad infection so what am I going to save-pepper or wait for the rest to catch up, let the pepper shell and take what's left. F@#K!!!

            WD9,

We were in Manville yesterday.... Big storm.

Hwy 36 north of Viking angle across Innisfree... and on up... drifts of hail on 16...

Some crops as flat as the pavement... especially peas.

We got Canola and CPS zapped at Sherwood Park... not a good afternoon...

" industry doesn't give a rats ass about the
farmer. They want them so far in debt to them that
they have to sell to keep the crushers going.
Broke farmers makes steady supply. When
farmers have cash and don't buy this prices are
high so we have to piss purple to get a crop at all
              possible cost.
              Follow the money."
              AGREED 150%.

Can I use your quote SF3 " broke farmers makes
              steady supply"
Man I saw 16 years of that!

that was last night, shut down even the
                vermilion fair tractor pull!

wow big damage. Edmonton to vermilion and
even up to lloyd had a wide carnage path,
lots of people lost huge percentages of
                their crop. Provincial average certainly
                took a hit.

Pea crops look like silage harvested.

Wd hail sucks we lost 21 quarters a few years
back not fun. Hobby just got a text from Cargill rep
saying Bertha have arrived I should be spraying,
so I got our agrologist to take a drive and look, I'm
at the lake ps on leaving and heading home, just
got text back from our guy A ok! Had to really look
                  to find one.
                  Follow the money!
Charlie we all get the demand side, what ps us all
off is this bs attitude that in Canada it's a perfect
                  crop.

Its crazy this year, the good areas are
                    just getting knocked off rapidly.

21 qtrs takes a lot of beers to forget SF3
                    LOL!

Had extra insurance that year but not even close
to a crop. None since to that size but we still buy
                      it.
