Will ask the question again. What are you seeing for current wheat prices concentrating on CWRS and CWAD? How are grade and protein spreads being handled.
What I am seeing (people will correct me) is that base grade prices for companies are readily available for prime customers. Comes to you by text on cell, pass word protected website access, and other ways including direct contact with a company representative. Those on the outside (including me) are finding getting price quotes challenging (processes oriented to customers who generate business).
Grade and protein spreads are something that is not readily published or available without digging. Is this your experience?
Will companies offer basis contracts? Off which futures? I suspect MGEX but wanting to confirm.
I would encourage everyone to share experiences in the new world. Things will be different starting with understanding how grades and proteins will be handled and the market signals/how different companies choose to compete. The issues existed in the old world - they were just hidden in the price pooling black box and you as farmer were not exposed to them (a part of price averaging).
