Swathing Short Canola

oops RR so no glypho. I am planning on swathing still but will depend on the heat and whether or not i can get it done timely. Trying to leave it stand as long as possible. In 2007 after the 6 week furnace we straight cut. Very small seed, thin pods and did not shatter even though it was a nice stand it was very wispy. Your advantage would be that it is short. Probably wont whip around as much. Have had heart failure watching invigor toss around in the wind and very little to no shattering occured. Swaths were blown around though. I think probably on the right track by doing some of each. Maybe check with the seed company on the shatter resistance of that variety. Might give u a better idea. I have straight cut undessicated and dessicated invigor and let RR stand and straight cut it without problem. Maybe 30 acre rate heat would work as well for it? Not registered I dont think yet tho.
