    Canola Fungicide

Never, I will never again eat the carrot that bayer hanges in front of me ever again. Proline is in my observation a very poor poor product but there are just to many dollars there not to use, but now i don't care. Used 3 different ones on our canola this year, Lance is THE BEST OUT THERE!!!!!!! hands down. can go in a little later but still had fantastic control, Astound is a very good product and would recommend as well. Would be afaid to spray around 20 bloom. Proline i would say worked half as good as lance and astound. FYI this is the fourth year we have done trials, so not just a one year thing. Last year proline worked ok so thought we would give it a try again this year. No sense in complaining to my bayer rep, will say i didn't spray at the right time Im sure.

Thought i would share my experience since there seems to be so much fricken sclorentia around.

Also forgot to note that I am done with Invigor canola too. Have heard others mention it on here as well.L150 and even 130 just arn't living up to what I expect out of Invigor canola. Have some a bunch of Pioneer 45H31 and its the best on my farm. H29 is good to, S52 is good to but hard to swath, BY 6060 is so-so, for some reason lots of aster yellow in it.

I sprayed some Lance on some late blooming canola that had already started to lodge. It saved the crop, my check strip was a write off. Sprayed rovral on the rest and got some protection. In the middle of swathing and crops look okay, not ready to pick next year's varieties yet.

Had Lance abd vertican side by side. Lance control was excellent Vertisan was poor- just slightly better than check.

You mean Bayer can't cure all our headaches regarding canola? Not even with an aspirin?? Imagine that!!

Have to Agree, Sprayed Half Canola with Proline and Half with Lance. Lance was every bit as good as the Proline and Cheaper. Also L150 surprised us plant is no hell but the yield was there.

That's the first positive yield comment I've heard all fall.
