Russia Whats going on?

What is happening over there exports
bans likely or even stronger will happen
just a matter of when?

Seems its the last bit of new
information to continue the bull run
other than deteriorating conditions in
austarlia which when its said and done a
mere drop in the ocean if we are 2 or 3
million tonnes short.

wheat seems range bound and even the
russian news i doubt it wil break out on
the top side

Lots of talk out of Russia and the Ukraine but to date,
no action. Stuff I read indicates the trade has been
busy making sales ahead of any government
intervention. Will the intervention happen? Good
question? Impact?

I would be watching for more governments (not just
East Europe) to start talking about food inflation and
intervention - similar to 2008 on rice/other crops. I
wouldn't let this impact my marketing plan (still a
seller of some into the current market) but it may be
a reason to own some calls in case things blow up
down the road. Hold a lottery ticket so to speak.

suspended exports in 2010, it topped the
wheat market.

watch out for disappointment on Friday as
Big Ben admits that there is no QE3
