My other other question is, do you not cut your head
lands first? Where does the combine turn around?
    The neighbouring quarter?

Here in eastern alberta the barley is very poor. wheat did substantially better. not sure whats gonna happen to feedlot alley in jan when they still cant get corn / wheat is a food market and barley that was supposed to be there just isn't. one thing is for sure if i was feeding i would be locking in alot of barely today on this down turn.

                  Albertie barely yields are totally
                  bullshit based! Each and every
year......... Due to level playing fields
though, wes stands ta make a pile of coin
this year and pay lots and lottsa taxes.

Our barley went from looking like a
record breaking crop in July, to record
poor at harvest. Leaf disease was the
                    main problem, inspite of fungicide(once
only). Aster yellows took a toll. Wind
                    shattered a few fields almost
                    completely. Lodging inspite of low
yields. Seeded into dust, then record
wet June, then record hot and dry in
July, with extreme humidity and dew all
summer. Everyone I've talked to in a
wide area is disappointed. This is in
west central Alberta, almost the edge of
                    farmland.

Unable to answer as you have not specified
combine loss. You specifically asked for crop yield
                      but are missing some data.
