    Carnage in Canola

My condolences to the guys that where pre selling 4
to 12 months ago and then missed the last 3 month
    rally.

We very much need a bounce here at 15(beans) but it
feels weak and if it doesn't hold hopefully 14 will
which is pretty solid, but then the timeline for a
descent rally is drug out to far.

How did all the pay for analysts do?

One was out yesterday only $32,000.00
for the year and I get a market news
letter plus a computer program to chart
    my progress.
Yes if you look at what I have left not
priced gee I did loose some money in the
last 8 trading days. DAh! But then when
I turned it around and said All the guys
you told 7 was a good starting point for
their HRS a year ago and I sold for
    close to 10.
But that one they didnt here. Because
    they didnt get my $32,000.00.
I have control till its sold and I have
the check. But if you owe huge dollars
to every single person on the planet
then guess what their program works for
    you.
I think we will hold above 14, their is
just to much shit going on in the beans.
But stats can is on its way in a hour
and a half and who knows what BS they
    will spew.

No these guys that were at the farm were
out last year when the CWB was ending
saying 7 was a good starting point. All
that are signed up with them went for it
and presold. I took a decent basis and
waited till summer then sold. But yes its
          $32,000 or 3.20 to 4 a acre. Yes I have a
lot of emotion about farming but when I
see a price that's good I take it.

Now I have a question, would you take a
.55 cent cost on calls for march on 2000
tons. Yes its a 48,000 gamble but with a
short crop why not try for a little
            profit.

Personally i would hold off for a bit.

This is short term stuff,so everyone take it with a
              grain of salt.

Beans made the 15.50 bounce i was looking for,but
now within the next several days I've got a canola
correcting down to 560,of course i hope i'm wrong
              and 15 holds.

maybe we could put a pool of money together to help with Sask3's stress. :-) For the marketting advice of course.

How many have heard Moe Agostino's marketing classes through FCC?
He was right on in 2012. How about now?

He suggests long term charting shows 9 out of 10 years, best prices between Feb 1st and June 1st. Takes discipline, know your costs, etc.
Basically market zip July to Jan, haul late priced stuff. Concentrate on growing.
Hard not to be influenced by doomsayers and analysts watching markets everyday. Everyone has an opinion, leads to info overload.
                        Recommend his market class.
