Anyone considering using MPower Good Harvest
on their lentils this year? I don't think it will be any
better than Reglone since it is primarily a contact
herbicide. I had a heavy lentil canopy in low spots
that couldn't be penetrated and the Reglone only
dried down what it touched, (12.5 US gpa).
Anything I want to save for seed will get Reglone,
anything else glyphosate. Peas are a different
story here, they actually quit growing so Good
Harvest and Reglone don't do too bad a job but it's
hard to give up the clean-up job glyphosate
provides. The maximum residue level issues of
glyphosate in lentils is supposedly resolved.
