    Mcqueen hail agencies

So I had a hail claim in the middle of July, and I have hail insurance through mcqueen agencies. Reported my loss andf had mcqueen appraisers come out and look at my crop. They looked at my crop at several locations and come to the conclusion(2 reps from same firm together, One was a newbie and the other and experencied appraiser) that my crop was a 100% write off. Was asked what I was going to do with crop and I said not sure maybe get somebody to silage or greenfeed it after nitrates are checked, and he said let me know what you have decided when you have. So I called him back and said I had found somebody that may be interested in greenfeeding it but there isnt going to be much there. Waited for 3 weeks for my hail check to arrive and it never showed up. So called company and they said I havent done nothing with crop and am NOT going to pay you till you do something with crop. Asked rep, what interest does hail insurance agency have in my crop after they have written it off and why are they telling me that I HAVE TO do something with the crop after they have written it off at %100. He called agency and was told that they still have an interest in the crop even after they write it off at %100.

I called the company myself and he explained to me like if I were in an auto accident and vehiucle written off they take the vehicle and do what they want with or the owner could buy it back. So I asked does that mean that they are going to pay the person to take off the grenfeed off my crop and then I get paid on my %100 he said no.
We then went round and round trying to prove each other was wrong. SO my question is. Why do agencies like MCQUEEN have a right to tell me what I can or cannot do with my crop AFTER it has been written of %100.
I feel that I am getting screwed on this and now I have other claims with company that I feel that I am going to get screwed again.
This was my first year with MCQUEEN and MY LAST.
Any body else been screwed by this agency?
