    hail on flowering canola

July 10 we had a bitch of a storm roll
through the area. My canola was around
50% bloom, looked great. Made running 20
hours a day to get it in early seem
    worthwhile. 15 minutes later I had 100
acres with zero flowers. Lots of
branches broke off looked like hell. To
add insult to injury the storm stopped
literally at the road. There is a ridge
on the other side and my neighbors field
was completely untouched 100 feet away.
Been waiting for afsc to come out and
I'm worried they'll say it regrew and
there was no damage, if it freezes
    that's crop insurance.
I pay for the hail rider to cover this
and if they'd been out a week ago it was
in full bloom. If I'd seeded it late
enough to bloom Aug 10 they would have
denied me coverage so I'm thinking it's
    still a hail problem.
Has anybody dealt with this before?
Adjuster might be out by the weekend.
    Thanks
