Well another week with no rain, no dew nothing.
We're fricking So dry it's unbelievable, fire in
peas, from stone out of combine, nothing major
but its sickening dry!
Well learning lots on soy, it doesn't like it to dry at
this time of year yet on hill tops its producing pods
lots of pods. Yet on good land lots of plant very
few pods.
Still needs few weeks.
Canola, well early is nice (RR looks better). Early
liberty is Also nice. Late needs help, hail damaged
needs help.
Peas are almost in the bin, all finished. Have a
few funerals this week so harvest has slowed, but
peas are ok. All delivered so yield is final cleaned
number sloughs out, geese damage etc. ( 52).
Price is f$&ked 6.15 good did 8.50 8.25 7.25&
7.15. Last will suck at 6.15.
Oats turning way to fast heat is not helping, it's
making light grain.
Barley still looks good, it's turning, swathing will
happen Saturday then harvest in 4 to 5 days after.
Wheat, hrs looks good but are seeing a screw up
where sprayed aceppalla at heading past
flowering it looks like a no no. Oh we'll 60 acres.
Early wheat is great late has issues.
Well frost next week would damage late canola
and very late wheat. Flax one might make now.
Frost would still do damage.
Heat on late crops is doing damage.
It's the year to seed early only problem was snow
was still on ground early may.
Oh we'll better than the last year, just not my best,
but its ok.
Be safe prices are going down and are tanking,
keep telling them you have huge yields, like one
guy who said his hrs is running 75 yet two
tandems can keep up to two combines with lots of
times for truckers to sit. Yea under ground storage
again.
Bs bs bs bs.
Have a safe long weekend.
