Well a heavy rain last week left us looking at our combines till sunday afternoon. Then we took barley and barley on Monday. Finally Tuesday we were back into Wheat and by the end of the day it was finally dry. Then Wed morning we had mist rain whatever. Tried late yesterday and it was 19.8 Would have gone today but guess what Rain rain rain.
Drew can get one thing right this year rain. Total less 4 inches all growing season since sept 1.5 inches and well I think we will get back our 4 really quick.
Heavy rain for areas to north of us today.
Welcome to harvest.
Ok hrs still doing real good its nice to see yields like we use to get. Sorry some of you think 60 is a bumper but that's maybe a once in a life time but for flooded area that's back to normal.
The drought that hit our area was probably the best thing to happen all year.
Canola again back to normal on early the late had issues.
Barley and oats the same early great late not so.
One thing to remember those that think we should have seeded earlier. Ah snow on ground in early may. Yes and lots of it. Tough to seed when drill is in a snow bank.
Soy the best will be 25 as soy doesn't like no rain.
