I can't figure out what the organic
industry end game is. Right now they
have a niche market commanding a premium
price...seems like a good arrangement to
me. this however doesn't seen to be
enough. An all out attack spearheaded by
the organic industry fueled by
misinformation and emotion is being
launched on conventional agriculture. So
if conventional Ag is successfully
snuffed out doesn't that just leave
organics as just another commodity
devoid of any special value. Presidents
Choice has adds on TV for organic baby
food with a guarantee that it will not
cost more than the non organic options.
It just seems counter intuitive to push
this so far. Maybe Parsley, kaiser and
Pourfarmer can shed some light on this
for me.
