Looking at expanding the livestock end
of our farm, have lots of hay/feed but
dont want anymore cows as were running
out of pasture. Thought about getting
into either sheep or meat goats. Would
like sheep as my past experience with
goats has been frustrating to say the
least. Is there a 'no shear' sheep that
will handle our climate? What are the
markets like for sheep? Hard to get
into? Is there a market for cow/calf (no
t the right term i know)? or finished to
slaughter only? Dietary requirements in
our climate? Whirlwind of info available
on the net but hard to find information
directly related to our climate.
