Well a few weeks ago the company we use came out with a pre buy on anhydrous not bad price but with the drop in anhydrous world wide thought we should be closer to .39 a lb not the .43.7 full service.
Well this prebuy was a month ahead of our usual which is end of nov till Dec 30th.
They needed Cash is the long and short of it. Most told them to screw off.
Well now they come up with new pre buy no not cheaper but .04 to .05 cents a lb. higher. And they store till spring. Yea its ammonia like they store it.
So world wide Fertilizer is dropping but in good old Sask were swimming against the current and going up.
So our little profit will be eaten up by Fert, Chem and Seed. ISNT FARMING GRAND!!!!!!!!!!!!But its still cheaper than last year, I keep hearing but Canola and Wheat were Way higher. Its time for farmers to start telling these guys no were not buying. How long can they afford to stay open Me thinks not to long with no sales.
