This will be our first year with a
Bourgault Air Tank. We bought a 42' 5710
with a 6350 tank. We have always ran
flexicoil up until this point.
We are going to have to bring our fert
home soon and i want to make sure i have
the right blend. Our plan is to put down
about 290 lb/acre out of 1 tank down the
mid rows and then use 1 other tank to
but down about 90 lbs/acre of a blend
with the seed and the small tank for the
canola seed.
My question is how much product will 1
tank put out with a single flight
system? I have been told that with a
single flight system the max is only
about 200lbs/acre. The tank did come
with a owners manual but we can't find
anything with a rate sheet in it. I
looked online and according to the sheet
i found it says the 1 tank with a single
flight system will put out about 325
lbs/acre in high range with a setting of
about 95. It also says on the page i
found online that a double flight puts
on less. Which is right?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
