This year I swathed the first durum as
the weather forcast looked good and
wanted to get it in bin faster. That
ended up being #1 and has falling #s of
423. The rest I straight cut and is
basically #3. My question is can
swathing then combining under good
weather conditions increase the quality
of grain? If doing it that way gets my
durum sold into a specfic market I can
make money by doing the extra operation
if the weather forcast looks good of
course.
