On our farm I'm taking a page out of PCS book and our Labour force will be cut down to one part time retired farmer. Our sons will move into a bigger role.
We dropped 1400 acres of marginal land, that had a huge cost but profit wasn't their like our better land. Did work in the wet years but once we get back to normal rain fall poor results.
Just finished redoing land rentals the past week. All steady to down, Sorry some don't like to here this but its a reality.
Equipment costs will drop, do to some pieces paid for so no payments plus others less with better lease rate.
We will evaluate in spring but Seed treatment on all cereals will be dropped.
We ordered Generic chemical vs name brand for WO on Cereals.
One pass liberty and Last of 2.40 RR.
