Kinda strange that the mass media hasn't
picked up on the huge slide in grain
prices. Somebody must be profiting from
our losses. I would guess it would be
grain handlers for one. Unfortunately
there aren't any line companies listed
any more in Canada (AGT maybe) Railways
maybe, but isn`t their grain freight
income capped. There is also the USA.
ADM is pretty vertically integrated so
may work but I think they are sleazy.
Bunge perhaps.
Does anybody know of a company that has
a significant portion of their cost of
goods sold being corn or wheat. Their
margins and therefore profits should be
on the rise big time. Kelloggs,
others....... Just hoping someone else
has done some research so I don`t have
to dig through a sea of financial
statements.
