Grain prices are tanked, fertilizer up a bit, seed
costs stay the same or go up, chemical prices stay
the same or go up, railways cannot keep up to this
demand, grain companies raking us with basis.
What is your plan? Other than alternating some crop
rotations, does the same fertilizer rates, same acres
sown as last year even constitute as a plan? Most
businesses (or are we even a business?) curb low
prices with production cut back. Is it a waste of time
for us to cut back, or do we just hope for a wreck
some were else? That was the question I was asked
the the other day. Do I really have a plan for low
prices, am i happy with low prices, or am i simply a
puppet on a string in what I do and will keep doing
the same thing ? Lets hear some thoughts out
there.
